I have lived in the Tri- County area for the majority of my life and can share my knowledge and familiarity of this wide area as well as the North Atlanta and In-Town Atlanta Area to you for expert service.
The Atlanta and surrounding counties have grown beyond measure and each area is unique with its own attractions and cultural centers.
Douglas County has a numerous hiking, camping and fishing parks including Sweetwater Creek State Park in Lithia Springs. The Creek feeds into Sweetwater Reservoir which allows only row boats for you quiet fishing get-a-ways. There is an easy and beautiful 1 & 1/2 mile trail to the ruins of Historical New Manchester Manufacturing Company, a textile mill during the Civil War. The trail winds along Sweetwater Creek with views of beautiful rapids along the trail. You may sign up for informative hikes led by Forest Rangers. All of this just minutes from Downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield International Airport.
Residents of the Douglas/Paulding County areas have been in the area through many generations. There are beautiful estate homes on acreage in and around both counties. New residential communities are closer to Downtown Douglasville as well as Executive Home Communities with excellent Golf, Swimming and Tennis Amenities at your fingertips. You will have the convenience of all the best shopping you need within a few miles. Paulding County has one of the largest Wild Life Management areas in Georgia and is the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Paulding County is one of the fastest growing counties in the state yet still has that small town feel with friendly neighbors and a warm hello when you are out and about. Atlanta Film Studios is also located in Paulding County.
Kennesaw Mountain in West Cobb is amazing. Not only historical but it is also used daily by all for its great picnic, walking, running areas and horseback riding trails. Many love to run the mountain itself daily! West Cobb is known for the Beautiful and Historical City of Marietta and it's Square. Much like In-town Atlanta, it is walking friendly with great Restaurants, Theater and many other wonderful Art Venues. Around the City are Grand and Gracious Homes of the South built around the turn of the century. Beyond Marietta are homesties on acreage still available for your private space as well as the finest in New Home Construction and Community Life. Marietta is in the top 25 places to live in the country!
Last but certainly not least is In-town Atlanta. From Downtown Decatur to Downtown Atlanta to Buckhead Atlanta you will have the opportunity to live and work in one of the most vibrant, exciting and booming cities in these United States. Atlanta is a beautiful and gracious city full of life and plenty of southern hospitality to go around. Downtown Decatur was the original city of Atlanta. With the railroad expansion the city expanded west to where our Downtown currently exist. You will see the very popular original Craftsmen Designed homes of the 1920's in the downtown Decatur area to the neighborhoods in VA Highlands, Morningside and Midtown Atlanta. The new and grandiose homes of Buckhead, Atlanta represent the current financial and retail district of the city. Downtown Atlanta is home to the exciting and historical Underground Atlanta and host of many exciting national conventions as well as the newest favorite spot for Hollywood filmmakers. Atlanta is relevant and one of the fastest growing, most popular places to call home.
